There's a common oiling problem Using the pre-1992 R32 RB26 motors, since the surface where by the crankshaft meets the oil pump was machined far too little, finally resulting in oil pump failure at high rpm. This issue was fixed in later versions from the RB26 that has a wider oil pump generate, which happens to be present in all R33+ RB26 motors.
